Life in Vancouver is treating me kindly. I really love my new job and I’m keeping busy with freelance stuff and socializing stuff when I’m not working in the newsroom. Here’s some pikturz.
(The other) Eliana and James celebrated a birthday. The top photo of Woody Allen is of a cake topper, made by our friend Mel, who sees it as a viable business in the future. Cake toppers!

Sooooo…yup. I guess the big thing that’s been consuming me lately is my sister’s going in for some major surgery later this week. So send love, lots and lots of it. She’s going to be blogging about her recovery here. Have I mentioned what a strong lady she is? That’s one of the (many many many) ways we differ.
