One of my favorite compliments led to one of my most regrettable moments. Coming home from college one night, a little girl that couldn't have been more than 10 years old walked up to me and asked me to 'go with' her and tried to hand me a note. I was in a bad mood and I just ignored her and walked away. Though I'm sure she wasn't permanently scarred by the experience, I feel horrible and wish more than anything that I hadn't been so rude.
